Terms of Use

skinshi is a native iOS application that allows users to manage their Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Steam inventory and storage units from an iPhone or iPad. Core inventory features connect directly from your device to Steam and Valve services. skinshi does not store your inventory, credentials, chat history, or usage history on skinshi servers. Optional AI+ beta features may contact skinshi servers for request execution as described below.

skinshi is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Steam, or Apple Inc.

By using skinshi, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 13, you may not use the app. Steam accounts and marketplace features are subject to Steam's own age and eligibility requirements, which you must comply with independently.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use skinshi for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices that you own or control.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or its connected services.

To use skinshi, you must sign in with your Steam account. You may use Steam QR code authentication or enter your credentials directly. If you choose to save an account, Steam refresh tokens are stored securely in your device's iOS Keychain.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Steam account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to comply with Steam's Terms of Service and all applicable Valve policies.

skinshi does not have access to your Steam password. We cannot and will not reset your Steam password or recover your Steam account.

skinshi provides tools to move items between your CS2 inventory and storage units, as well as an Auto Sort feature. All inventory operations are initiated by you and executed through Steam and Valve services.

You understand and agree that inventory operations carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: temporary trade locks, item unavailability, Steam maintenance periods, and Valve-imposed restrictions. skinshi displays item quantities, capacities, and warnings to help you avoid errors, but you are ultimately responsible for confirming actions before they are submitted.

We strongly recommend reviewing your selections carefully before confirming any move or sort operation. Once an operation is submitted to Steam, it may not be reversible.

skinshi includes AI-assisted features. AI outputs are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or different from what you expect. You are responsible for reviewing any AI suggestion before relying on it or syncing an inventory change.

6.1 Chat with Shi

Chat with Shi is Skinshi's on-device assistant. When Apple Foundation Models are available on your device, Shi uses local model execution and does not send Shi chat prompts or responses to skinshi servers. Shi may help route you to live app views, pricing, friend inventory, or other Skinshi screens; those app actions may still contact Steam, Valve, public Steam Market endpoints, or Apple as needed for the underlying feature.

6.2 AI+ Beta

AI+ beta is optional and experimental. AI+ beta requests, including AI+ Auto Sort and AI+ Rate My Inventory, use skinshi servers for execution. When you start an AI+ beta request, you authorize Skinshi to process the limited prompt, inventory, item, Storage Unit, capacity, and virtual-plan metadata needed to complete that request.

AI+ beta does not send your Steam password, saved Steam refresh tokens, Apple payment details, or payment card information. Skinshi does not store your Steam inventory as a hosted user database, does not sell your personal information, and does not use AI+ beta to build advertising profiles.

AI+ Auto Sort creates a virtual plan first. It does not submit real inventory changes to Steam unless you choose to sync the plan. AI+ Rate My Inventory is an opinionated beta rating feature and should not be treated as financial, trading, market, or investment advice.

We may change, limit, suspend, or remove AI+ beta at any time. AI+ beta credits, limits, model behavior, response quality, and availability may change during the beta period.

skinshi offers auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). All transactions are processed by Apple. skinshi does not collect, process, or store your payment card information.

7.1 Subscription Terms

The Premium+ subscription is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. The current price and any available trial are shown by Apple before purchase. By subscribing, you agree that:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current subscription price shown by Apple.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings under Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Any free trial shown by Apple converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

7.2 Premium Lifetime Access

Premium Lifetime Access is a one-time payment that grants unlimited move requests and up to 10 saved Steam accounts. This purchase is tied to your Apple ID and may be restored on other devices signed into the same Apple ID.

7.3 Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are subject to Apple's refund policies. skinshi does not process refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple Support.

7.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period, and you will be notified in advance through Apple's subscription management system.

skinshi offers a free tier with limited usage. Free users receive a weekly quota of move requests (currently 3 per week, resetting Saturday at midnight local time). Free users may also receive a limited number of on-device Shi requests per day and a limited number of AI+ beta credits per app install. Usage limits may change at our discretion. We will notify users of material changes to free tier limits through in-app messaging or app updates.

Quota usage is tracked locally on your device. We do not maintain a skinshi server-side usage profile for free tier quotas.

skinshi and its content, including but not limited to code, designs, text, graphics, and logos, are the property of skinshi or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Counter-Strike 2, Steam, and related marks are trademarks of Valve Corporation. All game-related data, item definitions, icons, and imagery displayed in the app are property of Valve Corporation or their respective owners. skinshi uses publicly available game data for display purposes only and does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property.

SKINSHI IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any inventory operations performed through the app will be accurate, complete, or reversible.
• Steam or Valve services will remain available or compatible with the app.
• The results obtained from using the app will meet your requirements or expectations.
• AI-generated suggestions, ratings, summaries, or organization plans will be accurate, complete, safe, available, or suitable for your intended use.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SKINSHI OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the app.
• Any inventory operations, item moves, or storage unit changes performed through the app.
• Any AI-generated suggestion, AI+ beta plan, rating, summary, or output you choose to rely on.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
• Any third-party conduct or content within the app or connected services.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (through Apple In-App Purchase) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless skinshi, its developer, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the app.
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable Steam or Valve terms.
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any inventory operations you perform that result in loss, damage, or dispute.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to skinshi at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications or app updates. Your continued use of skinshi after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole. Such provisions shall be deleted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
